Members of the Sunday School class at Chapel in the Pines in Red Feather Lakes raised $325.25 with a “Coins for Cookies” fundraiser for the Larimer County Humane Society.
According to the chapel’s treasurer, Dick Stroh, the children wanted to thank the Humane Society for their efforts to save, transport and house animals during the High Park Fire last June. Members of the congregation contributed by buying and enjoying cookies baked by the kids.
