Last-minute tax filers? You'll need to drive to Denver for that April 17 postmark

The United States Postal Service will once again accommodate the parade of people pursuing a postmark proving punctual posting of their tax returns – but only if you live in or near Denver.

All Northern Colorado post office retail windows will be open on April 17 with regular customer-service hours, but none will be open late. The only retail location staying open late April 17 will be the Denver GMF facility at 7500 E. 53rd place, which is open for business until midnight.
