Local historical groups form Colorado Heritage Connect

A new group dedicated to the Heritage of Colorado has formed in Northern Colorado. The mission of this group is to consolidate information on local historical groups and supporting businesses in one easy-to-access place.

Any and all groups interested in Colorado history are welcome to join this group. There are no fees to join this informal group and it is dedicated to keeping any costs associated with promoting the group affordable and the management low maintenance.

Meetings are not on any set schedule, but are determined by the needs of all involved.

A Facebook page has been developed which will list each organization, its purpose and
information on upcoming events.

Wildernest Retreats, Loveland

The next meeting will be June 10 at 1 p.m. hosted by the Berthoud Historical Society at the McCarty- Fickel House, 645 7th St. in Berthoud. Call 970-532-1916 for more information and directions.
