NoCo Nature Festival, formerly the birding fair, celebrates nature on Sept. 27

Come spread your wings and branch out with a new festival that celebrates the unique nature of Northern Colorado. The Northern Colorado Birding Fair is getting a new name, a new location, and a whole lot more pizzazz! The NoCo Nature Festival takes place on Saturday, September 27 from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. and is presented by Poudre Pet & Feed Supply.

Everyone is invited to a free day of fun and learning for the whole family that includes live animals, interactive activities, live music, food, presentations, a nature costume contest, vendors and more! Free parking and shuttle available. Come join in on this nature-filled festival with the whole family! Some of this year’s highlights include presentations by the Zoological Discovery Center and US Fish and Wildlife Service – they’ll be bringing live critters.

Entry to the NoCo Nature Festival is free for all thanks to sponsorships and local vendors who participate. To help keep the event free, donations from the visiting public will also be accepted.

Directions and more information: The NoCo Nature Festival is at Nix Farm Natural Area, 1745 Hoffman Mill Rd in Fort Collins.
