Pedestrian struck by train

On Feb. 9 at about 5 p.m. the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a female pedestrian was struck by a train near the 3600 block of Grant Avenue in the town of Wellington. 

LCSO personnel and the Wellington Fire Department responded and shielded the victim with a sheet, but no additional information is available at this time.

The train blocked the 3600 block of Cleveland Avenue for several hours.
 
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at 970-416-1985 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868 where you will remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward.
