The College Scholarship Fund has been a part of Poudre Valley REA’s Community Outreach Program for 19 years and has awarded more than $160,000 to area students since 1993. The scholarship program is funded entirely with unclaimed capital credits as are other community programs for the benefit of the association members.

An additional two scholarships awarded are funded by Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association. The recipients of these $500 scholarships are Nate Overton, son of Daniel and Tara Overton, graduate of Windsor High School, who will attend CSU, and Austin Coffin, son of Curtis and Nancy Coffin, a graduate of Greeley West High School who will attend CU.

Scholarship application forms for next year will be posted on www.pvrea.com in October.
