The Town of Wellington is verifying candidate petitions submitted by the Feb. 28 deadline. Eleven petitions were submitted for the four open town board seats and two candidates will be vying for mayor.
Candidate names will be released Tuesday afternoon, once the petitions are verified. The election is April 1.
