Referred to as “America’s Race,” the USA Pro Challenge will take place August 17-23, 2015. For seven consecutive days, the world’s top athletes race through the majestic Colorado Rockies, reaching higher altitudes than they’ve ever had to endure. One of the largest cycling events in U.S. history and the largest spectator event in the history of the state, the USA Pro Challenge is back for 2015, with Stage 6 on August 22 occurring from Loveland into Fort Collins. Stage 6 begins in Windsor and Loveland with flats and sprints, a north side climb at Carter Lake, and then to a new climb up Rist Canyon. The day’s race ends with a spring across the jagged rollers of Horsetooth Reservoir before bombing into Fort Collins. Festivities in the Old Town Square area, viewing and spectator gatherings throughout various bars and restaurants, and VIP parties will be happening. VIP packages available.
