Wasteland Hop has been a staple in the Fort Collins music scene for years now. This new 6-song EP is proof that
they are here to stay as a force in the local music scene. They brand themselves as “hip-hop,” but they are so
much more complex than simple hip-hop and this album shows that. There is a darker quality to this EP that is
very intriguing. The rapping and the vocals work in perfect harmony with the music to create a soundscape that
will transport you to a world with dark and beautiful melodic tones. “Cold World” is one of the sexiest songs on
the album and Steph’s voice is so alluring and beautiful. Mixed with the tone of the song and Mickey’s rapping, it
makes for the perfect song on the album.
