Spring is coming. Spring roster drills for youth soccer and flag football will take place on March 10.
Registration is also open for summer player pitch baseball. For player pitch baseball, we join the Fort Collins Baseball Club. Player pitch teams will practice in Wellington with a few games played in Wellington and the remainder in Fort Collins. Registration is also open for our adult 7v7 coed soccer league. Ages 16 and up can play. Register a team for $300 (compare to $600 and up for other area programs) and play eight games. Adult soccer games are played Saturday afternoons beginning April 5.
We’re getting ready for the annual 9Health Fair as well, this year taking place on April 5. If you would like to help out or donate for the fair call the Recreation Office at 970-568-7410 for details.
Registration for our Summer Adult Softball Leagues opens March 17. Register your team online March 15 or March 16 and receive a 10 percent discount on registration fees. League play begins the week of May 11. Here are the available leagues for Coed: Leisure (Friday or Wednesday), Recreation (Thursday), and Upper Rec (Sunday). For 2014, we will also offer a Men’s League on Sunday evenings.
