Astoria Bar

The Astoria Bar at 146 North College Avenue is well known as one of the most haunted places in Old Town. Built as a bank in 1905, it is believed that the ghost of The Astoria is a former bank employee and he has been seen dressed in a suit. The Denver Paranormal Society has recordings of the ghost that can be found on YouTube, and patrons have snapped photos of the ghost relaxing and having a beer. Local artist Jeff Herndon was inspired to create a drawing of the ghost enjoying a drink in front of The Vault Gallery. The Fort Collins Ghost Tour no longer stops at The Astoria due to activity that was a bit too close for comfort while conducting tours. Spooky events for the month of October include, The Eleventh Hour Fetish Ball Saturday 11, Glitter Drag Cabaret Saturday 18, Zombie Crawl Party Saturday the 25 and Halloween Party on the 31st.
