Beetle Busters offers help to landowners

As of Oct. 1, Larimer County Beetle Busters is once again available to inspect forested properties and provide information about the mountain pine beetle. Volunteers with the organization are trained to identify beetle infestations. They can also help landowners find the resources they need to treat their beetle-infested trees and slow the epidemic.

Any Larimer County resident who would like assistance from Beetle Busters may make an appointment by calling Jamie Dahl of Colorado State Forest Service at 970-988-3667 or Wes Rutt of Larimer County Tree Farmers at 970-482-6912.
