Looking for a place to find a great read and support Cache La Poudre Elementary School at the same time?
Stop by the school’s Scholastic Book Fair event Feb. 20 and Feb. 23-27. The community is invited to participate in this fun reading event geared to inspiring children to become lifelong readers. Funds raised will purchase books for the school library and other needed school items.
The fair will be open Feb. 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a special community and family night that includes a fundraiser chili dinner from 5-6:30 p.m., book readings, a performance by CLPE RiverSong choir, a silent auction featuring student-painted treasure boxes and door prizes for kids.
The Book Fair will be open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily Feb. 23-27 and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 26. The fair offers specially-priced books and educational products, popular series books, award-winning titles, new releases, adult best sellers and great reads from more than 100 publishers.
