Dec. 3-11, National Forest Red Feather Lakes Christmas tree cutting area open, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m Take U.S. 287, north to Livermore. Turn left onto County Road 74E (Red Feather Lakes Road). After 16 miles turn left onto County Road 68C (Boy Scout Road) for seven miles. Signs or Forest Service personnel will direct you into the area.
Permits available at U.S. Forest Service Fort Collins and Greeley offices. The Visitor Office in Fort Collins is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Call 970-295-6700 before arriving to ensure someone who can sell permits is available. Permits will be available on site for cash on weekends only.
Dec. 3, Wellington Annual Christmas Parade, downtown, 5 p.m.
Dec. 3, Wellington Seniors Annual Christmas Bazaar, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Senior Center, 3800 Wilson. New vendors this year, arts and crafts, baked goods, lunch served.
Dec. 3, Stove Prairie Winter Festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Stove Prairie School, 3891 Stove Prairie Rd., Bellvue. 50 local artisans, Christmas trees, wreaths and decorations.
