It is with pleasure that I endorse Nancy Tellez for re-election to the PSD School Board. Having been a teaching colleague of Nancy’s for over two decades, I have had opportunities to watch my friend bring both her passion and considerable skill to important educational issues. An active community member and former district teacher, Nancy draws on her considerable city and PSD background to vision a future of ongoing educational excellence.
Her abilities to be available and responsive, to listen objectively and to collaborate are just a few of the qualities she brings to her board position. Nancy is dedicated to broader opportunities for all community members to participate in district decision-making processes. A proactive thinker and thoughtful decision-maker, she consistently seeks partnering opportunities to create innovative solutions for identified problems.
Nancy’s record speaks for itself; she has proven to be an involved, discerning member of the board since her 2005 appointment. Regardless of the time and energy needed, this enthusiastic board member will continue to work tirelessly to provide increased resources for district staff and quality learning opportunities for all students.
