Next Roadmap to Recovery meeting on Sept. 26

Larimer County will hold a third “Roadmap to Recovery” meeting for High Park and Woodland Heights Fire survivors. The workshop, on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m., will be held in the first floor Hearing Room of the Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins.

The focus of this meeting with United Policyholders will be entirely on the “contents claim,” including strategies for completing the inventory, the concept of an inventory waiver and depreciation (a major topic unto itself). Karen Reimus, head of Disaster Recovery Aid, Outreach and Education for the nonprofit United Policyholders, will be the featured speaker.

Portions of this meeting will be videotaped and made available at Larimer County’s High Park and Woodland Heights Fire website, larimer.org/highparkfire. Videos of the first and second Roadmap to Recovery meetings are now on the website under “Public Mtgs./Updates/Events/Videos.”

Additional recovery information is also available on the site including a free subscription signup for High Park and Woodland Heights Fire information updates and a place to list upcoming events.
