Public's help sought in suspicious fires in LaPorte

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in obtaining information regarding several suspicious fires that have occurred recently in the LaPorte area. The fires began about six months ago and have occurred sporadically since then with the most recent fire occurring this past weekend. So far, no one has been hurt in the fires. Investigators are actively investigating these incidents but are looking for additional information.

The Sheriff’s Office reminds residents to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods when they see it.

Anyone with information regarding these fires is asked to call Investigations at the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at 970-498-5173 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868 where you will remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward.

Due to the active nature of the investigation, no additional information is available.
