Regenerating the forest information for High Park residents presented July 11

From the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department:

Information on helping regenerate our forest will be available Wednesday, July 11 at Cache La Poudre Middle School in the new gym from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This meeting is for residents of the High Park Fire that have lost any trees, grass, scrubs and worry about erosion.

The Colorado State Forest Service, Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and other natural resource professionals, will be on hand to share information and answer our many questions about which trees we can keep as well as where to apply for possible regeneration money. Handouts for our specific problems will also be provided.

This is a great opportunity for all of us. Please pass this on. Thanks Jean Hediger for spearheading this event. See you there!
