by Verna Tromberg

Put this date on your calendar: Dec. 3. You don’t want to miss the Wellington Seniors Annual Christmas Bazaar, which starts at 8 a.m. at the Senior Center, 3800 Wilson Ave. There will be new vendors this year, a bake sale, arts and crafts and we’ll be serving a delicious lunch. We close down around 2 p.m.

Wellington seniors play cards on the first and last Mondays of the month at the Senior Center. Elderhaus conducts a free blood pressure screening on the first Wednesday of the month at 11 a.m. before lunch is served at noon.

SALT meets at 10 a.m. on the first Friday of the month followed by lunch at noon. We play Bingo on the last Wednesday of the month. Please bring aluminum to recycle at any time. Your contributions are sincerely appreciated.
