Shop Mall to benefit AMP Youth Ministry

For a change of pace from the hustle-bustle of Black Friday shopping, come on down to AMP headquarters at 3712 Cleveland in Wellington and take part in the first annual Shop Mall on Saturday, Nov. 29 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Not only will there be a chance to shop and admire the works of 22 local artists and craftspeople, when you make a purchase you will be contributing to AMP, the youth ministry of the River of Life Fellowship in Wellington.

The organization reaches out to between 80 and 125 middle and high school youths in the community. There are weekly gatherings and activities during the school year and summer outdoor and camping programs. The organization also offers free music lessons among other opportunities for young people to make friends and learn a skill in a positive atmosphere.

Shop Mall organizer and Wellington resident Rebecca Keselburg promises, “Twenty-two things that aren’t found in stores” from hand-poured candles to jewelry, lotions, make-up, books for all ages from Usbourne, plus Pampered Chef, Mary Kay and It Works products. In addition,there will be a photographer available to take family portraits.
