Fort Collins, Colorado– It’s been a wild roller coaster ride for The Patti Fiasco. This band has ridden the highs and lows of booking the biggest show of their careers, twice. After a sudden cancellation (and a year waiting to see if the show would go on), they are back on the ride and preparing to open for Bon Jovi during This House Is Not For Sale 2018 Tour at the Pepsi Center on March 14th. They weren’t sure if their moment to shine had passed them by — this is their second time being offered the opening slot for Bon Jovi, and the band is grateful that Live Nation and Bon Jovi has asked them to come back to open.

Founding member Dee Tyler explains, “It was a shot through the heart to only make it halfway there, but if you keep the faith and have something to believe in you might end up getting your blaze of glory.”

The band initially won the gig in February 2017 exactly one year ago when they submitted a music video for a Live Nation contest. Lead singer Alysia Kraft thanks her mother for encouraging her to enter day after day. Unfortunately, Bon Jovi’s team had to cancel unexpectedly. But the band didn’t miss a beat and responded with a new venue and this statement:

“When life gives you lemons, you squeeze them in your eyes and then you get over it. Or you squeeze them in your hot toddy and sing your f****** heart out. We’re working on a backup plan and an ultra-fun night to celebrate all the love we’ve felt from you all from the beginning of this crazy roller coaster ride to the moment that the cart got a little jolt. MORE TO COME. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT!”

In the meantime, the band continued to tour all over Colorado and the west, and wasn’t expecting a second lightning strike when they got the call that Rock & Roll hall of Fame Inductees Bon Jovi would be coming back to Denver.

With new energy and renewed vigor the band has plans to release a new track recorded at the Blasting Room as the show draws closer. “It looks like this rockin’ roller coaster has been given yet another jolt and won’t be slowing down until it flies off the tracks!”

Tickets are available at Altitude Tickets.
