Fort Collins dance night rewinds the clock to pop, hip-hop and rock hits from the Y2K era

FORT COLLINS — Low-rise jeans, flip phones and the biggest hits of the early 2000s are getting another night in the spotlight when It’s A 2000’s Party takes over the Aggie Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The late-night dance party begins at 9:30 p.m. and promises a soundtrack built around the pop, hip-hop and rock that defined the decade. Music associated with artists including Britney Spears, Eminem and other 2000s favorites will fuel a night designed for anyone ready to revisit the Y2K era.
Guests are encouraged to lean into the nostalgia, including the fashion and culture that accompanied the music. For those who remember burning mix CDs, customizing MySpace pages or waiting for a favorite music video to come on TV, the party offers a chance to relive a distinctly early-2000s moment.
