Beer Festivals

What goes great with May sunshine and blue skies? Festivals! Music, food, beer… anything outdoors! If you’re getting the festival bug and love beer, here are a couple brewer’s festivals coming to FoCo that you might want to check out.
America On Tap:  Bringing you beer from around the world, America On Tap is one of the leading and most popular hosts for beer festivals all over the United States. This year, America On Tap will host around 70 different beer festivals, and one of their stops is Fort Collins. The tour will visit the Rocky Mountain state on May 2, and will feature over 60 different breweries, many of which are Colorado-local.
The festival starts at 2pm and will run until 5pm. General admission tickets are $35 for presale, with Designated Driver tickets available for just $10.  With your ticket, you’ll get a 5oz souvenir sample glass and access to over 100 beer releases. There will also be live music and food carts, and vendors will set up shop to provide you with a bustling and awesome atmosphere in which to enjoy friends, nature and beer. The festival will be at Washington Park (301 Maple St) in Downtown Fort Collins. For more information and to order your tickets, visit AmericaOnTap.com.
This event is 21+, so look for a baby sitter if needed.
Fort Love Brewers Jamboree: The Loose Affiliation of Craft Brewers and Rhymes with Paste Productions will be hosting the Fort Love Brewers Jamboree on May 16 at Legacy Park (300 Woodlawn Dr) in Fort Collins. This festival will be centered on not only Fort Collins and Loveland beer, but the education behind craft and home brewing. Part of the proceeds will go to Save the Poudre and the FC Bike Library. There will be seminars and education opportunities available and food vendors will be providing “small plates” to pair with your beer.
General admission to this festival is $45 and includes access from 2pm-6pm. With your ticket, you get a 5oz tasting glass, small plates from participating local vendors to pair with beers, access to educational seminars, and access to live music.
VIP Access tickets are $75 and include early access at 1pm, a full-size souvenir pint glass for tasting, a full catered meal, small plates, education and seminars, first access to limited beers, and live music. Please note that VIP Access is only available through pre-sale.
If you’re attending the festival as a designated driver, or if you have a child, you can get a ticket for $20 which includes small plates food samples and access to the festival from 2pm-6pm. You can also purchase Date Packages for just $80 for two people. For more information on this festival, visit BrewersJamboree.com.
I’d also like to wish Horse & Dragon Brewing Company a very happy 1st birthday! We are proud to have you in our City!
