Blizzard conditions cause several hundred Poudre Valley REA power outages

Screen shot 2016-03-23 at 9.34.14 AMPoudre Valley REA is experiencing widespread outages from a heavy, wet spring snow and blizzard conditions. All PVREA crews are deployed working to repair lines and restore power to all members.

The cooperative is reporting several poles and lines down across the service territory. Poudre Valley REA urges the public to exercise extreme caution around power lines, and to stay completely away from any power lines down on the ground. The public should assume any power lines on the ground are energized and highly dangerous.
