Around 900 people voted, which would far exceed the previous high vote total of over 500.

Tim Singewald, Ashley Macdonald and Matt Michel and Travis Harless were selected out of 10 candidates to serve as trustees.

The town’s only ballot question was approved by a large margin, 548 to 336. It asked voters to increase the town’s debt without raising taxes to fund completion of the Wellington Community Park for $2.4 million plus $600,000 in interest.

The 2012 town election was cancelled because the three declared candidates filled the three open trustee seats. This election had ten trustee candidates for four seats.
