The Town of Wellington will celebrate the opening of its newly completed $4.3 million park on Saturday, June 4 starting at 9:40 a.m. and running until noon. The 30-acre Wellington Community Park includes two baseball fields, tennis/pickleball courts, batting cages, multipurpose field, playground, splash pad and dog park.
The celebration includes facepainting, pickleball demonstrations, food trucks, a dunk tank and “water fun” supplied by the Wellington Fire Department.
The Wellington Community Park is located in northwest Wellington at 8890 Buffalo Creek Parkway.
