Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic to bring nearly 100 adoptable cats to adoption fair at The Ranch

Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic is holding its largest-ever Cat Caravan Adoption Fair from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on July 11 at the Thomas M. McKee 4-H Building at The Ranch in Loveland, featuring its “Celebrate Freedom” cat adoption special. There will be nearly 100 adoptable cats and kittens on site.

The cat rescue is teaming up with Best Friends Animal Society during the “Celebrate Freedom” promotion this July, because for shelter animals, freedom means finding a new home. Only at the one-day Cat Caravan event, adult cats age 5 months and older will be “name your price” to adopt, and the adoption fee for kittens will be discounted $25 off the normal rate.

“Our hope is that potential adopters will band together to declare Inde-Pet-Dence Day for shelter cats in our community,” said Megan Streetman, Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic shelter manager.

The Cat Caravan on Saturday will showcase dozens of kittens and cats, many of which have been living in foster homes. All cats and kittens available for adoption have already been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped and received appropriate disease testing. All adopters are required to fill out an adoption questionnaire before adopting.

To add a new kitty to the family, visit Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic’s shelter, or come to The Ranch, 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland, CO 80538, on Saturday. For more information, contact the cat rescue at (970) 484-8516 or visit www.FCCRSNC.org.
