Fort Collins introduces new ways to track development changes in the neighborhood

Development in Fort Collins has been steadily increasing for the past few years, and the City has introduced many new methods designed to make neighborhood changes easier to track and understand.

First and foremost, the “Development Proposal” sign is the primary way in which residents can track potential changes to their neighborhood. Every proposal sign has a number on it which can be use to track down relevant information at the City’s online hub.

It is important to note that this online hub has a wide variety of functions for the enthusiastic viewer. Citizens can read any public documents related to a development proposal on CityDocs, they can check out any notifications and agendas for neighborhood hearings or reviews and they can access and peruse a table of all development proposals that are currently being explored.

In addition, the website offers readers the chance to receive the City’s weekly e-newsletter titled “This Week in Development Review.” This email is filled with development review proposals, meetings, hearing decisions and more.

For more information on the City’s efforts in development review, please make sure to visit fcgov.com/developmentreview or call 970-224-6076.
