Hot topics on the agenda at Oct. 10 Fort Collins Community Issues Forum

The City of Fort Collins, in collaboration with Colorado State University’s Center for Public Deliberation, will host a Community Issues Forum on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the Columbine Room of the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.

The purpose of the forum is to give residents an opportunity to discuss and contribute ideas and opinions on a variety of topics. Topics will include Amendment 64 and retail marijuana businesses, City of Fort Collins Bike Plan updates, expanded smoking regulations and train horn noise in downtown.

Community Message

The Center for Public Deliberation will provide table facilitators and live polling to facilitate both a gathering of opinions as well as constructive conversations amongst participants. Please RSVP to http://tinyurl.com/n9wfnxz.

This event will introduce a new format to engage residents on several current issues. Participants may be particularly focused on one issue, but will also be asked to engage on all issues to gather broader feedback.
