Vote counting continued at noon in Larimer County, with about 6,000 ballot yet to be tallied. Election officials now expect final unofficial totals by the end of Wednesday.

As the sun finally began to come out, the Colorado Department of Transportation reported that northbound Interstate 25 had reopened between Wellington and the Wyoming border. Other roads in the area remain slushy and snow-packed.
