This year, participants are encouraged to wear a funny hat to add to the merriment while snowshoeing or cross-country skiing the 6-mile Gould Loop that starts at the park’s Moose Visitor Center.

The park will provide everyone with glow-in-the-dark jewelry and along with the colorful glow-sticks that line the trail, a fun evening under the light of the moon is guaranteed for all.

“What a great family tradition,” said Park Manager Joe Brand. “I look forward to taking my kids on their first full moon snowshoe at State Forest State Park.”
