Larimer County Manager Linda Hoffmann has named Robert ‘Terry’ Gilbert to the post of Larimer County Community Development Director. Under this new title, Gilbert will head up the Planning and Building Services Division—he intends to be on the job on April 15.
Having already served as a Community Development Director, Gilbert has a vast experience managing, directing and planning projects in the private sector for both local governments and for the U.S. Army. Gilbert was chosen from a field of 55 competitors from across the country for this position.
The Community Development Director oversees the Planning Department, the Building Department, the Rural Land Use Center and Code Compliance. Gilbert’s salary will be $108,000 annually.
