Larimer County Department of Health and Environment providing tetanus shots

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment is providing free tetanus (Tdap) shots to those involved in flood clean-up efforts (regardless of insurance status). This includes anyone who has been or will be in contact with flood water and/or flood debris.

Those who haven’t had a tetanus shot (Tdap) in ten or more years are urged to get a booster at the Health Department during walk-in clinic hours. If you get a wound, you will need to seek medical care from your doctor or urgent care clinic. Certain wounds may require an additional tetanus booster if it has been more than 5 years since your last shot.
