Larimer County Department of Natural Resources hosting birding tour of Eagle’s Nest

Spring is an excellent time to view the abundance and diversity of migratory and resident birds along the Front Range of Colorado. Join Bird Conservancy of the Rockies biologist Jeff Birek for a birding tour of Eagle’s Nest Open Space, located south of Livermore, near U.S. 287. The event takes place 6:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 3.

Possible species to be seen on this tour include lazuli bunting, spotted towhee, yellow warbler, golden eagle and American kestrel, plus many others.
