Larimer County property tax statement notification goes green

To be more environmentally friendly and to reduce costs, Larimer County Treasurer Myrna Rodenberger is reminding taxpayers they can receive an email notification when their tax statement is available to view or print. This option is available for all taxpayers owning property in Larimer County.

All that’s required to sign up for this notification is your “email ID number” located on your prior property tax statement, and an email address. By signing up for this service, you will help reduce processing and mailing costs and speed up your notification.

Colorado State Statutes were recently changed to allow distribution of electronic tax statements and the Larimer County Treasurer has committed to ensure property owners are able to take advantage of this benefit. Currently, 350 property owners have signed up for this service with Larimer County.

To sign up for email notification that your property tax statement is ready to view or print, please visit www.larimer.org/treasurer and click on “Register” to make your request.

The physical mailing of the property tax statements will take place near the end of January.
