I’d like to thank Congressman Cory Gardner for his reasonable stance on energy issues. One group that has been forgotten in the energy debates is property owners. Property owners have an incentive to make sure that any development of natural resources on their land is done safely. Congressman Gardner understands that, and has championed policies that protect property rights.
As a side note, I grew up with fracking in the oilfields on the Western Slope — fracking has never been the cause of any health problems for me, my family or friends — in 40-plus years. We need someone sensible like Cory Gardner in the U.S. Senate.
