Local Conservation Corps hiring youth and young adults for 46 positions

The Larimer County Conservation Corps is currently recruiting corpsmembers for the summer. Positions include part-time and full-time opportunities for youth and young adults, ages 14-25.

Corpsmembers perform various conservation projects in Northern Colorado and are engaged in a combination of hands-on projects and service learning activities focused on environmental awareness, community engagement, and personal and professional skill development. Summer projects performed by corpsmembers include sustainable agriculture, trail building/maintenance, fire mitigation, and habitat restoration. Projects take place on local, state, and federal lands.

Community Message

Programs with open positions include: AgriCorps (ages 14-16), Land Crew (ages 16-18), Sawyer Crew (ages 18-25) and RMNP Land Crew (ages 18-25). New this year, the LCCC is implementing the RMNP Land Crew, a back-country trail crew that will camp and work in Rocky Mountain National Park for the season.
