The pavement contractor is planning on finishing up the paving on Washington Avenue in Wellington at the railroad crossing this Friday or Saturday. The crossing was scheduled for an upgrade this fall, but the September floods have delayed the BNSF work, possibly until spring 2014.
Pavement that needs fixing when the crossing upgrade is finished will be patched by the pavement contractor.
