The Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District Board of Directors is seeking interested residents to serve on the district board. The board of directors are looking to fill one seat, and the appointment will take place at the Sept. 14 meeting.
Applicants must be registered voters in the district and reside or own property in the Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District prior to appointment.
Directors serve without financial compensation. The board meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month. From time to time there are additional meetings and committees on which board members serve.
Interested individuals are requested to submit a letter of interest, to the Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District Board of Directors, PO Box 364, LaPorte, 80535. Letters of interest for consideration must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7.
The board of directors will announce the appointment at its regular meeting at 7 p.m. on Sept. 14, at the Lower Poudre Canyon Community Center.
