TWO ARRESTED IN WAKEROBIN LANE HOMICIDE

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a homicide in Fort Collins.

At 10:22 p.m. on January 28, 2018, Fort Collins Police received a report of shots fired in the area of Wakerobin Lane. When officers responded, they located a deceased male in an outdoor parking lot.

Detectives determined that Janee Cardenas (DOB 3/26/1991) and Donny Ray Pulliam Jr (DOB 7/7/1988) were involved in a physical dispute with the victim, which culminated in his death. Both suspects have been arrested on charges of First Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery and were booked into Larimer County Jail. Detectives are still investigating this incident and the relationship between the involved parties. Police have no indication of any ongoing risk to public safety. The Larimer County Coroner will determine the official cause and manner of death and will release the victim’s identity pending family notification.

All charges are simply an accusation by law enforcement officers, and all arrested parties must be presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
