Just a reminder that registration is currently open for 2013 youth basketball. Walk-in registration (cash or check only) will end Fri., Oct. 25. Walk-in registration hours are Mon. and Fri. 4-6 p.m. and Wed. 2-6 p.m. Online registration ends at midnight Sun, Oct. 27. Registration fees are $45 for both grades 1-3 and 4-6 (register for grade currently in).
There will be a limit of 42 roster spots per age group.
Gym space for practices and games is extremely limited this year (times are between 6:15 and 9:15 p.m.). As a result of the shortened registration period and limited gym space all coaching needs must be met by Oct. 29. If coaching needs are not met by that date the league will be cancelled.
A coach-only meeting will be held in the Leeper Center on Mon., Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. Roster drills will be held at Eyestone Elementary on Wed., Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. Grades 1-3 games will be played mostly on Wed. nights and grades 4-6 on Tuesday nights. Games begin the week of Nov. 11 and end the week of Dec. 15.
We cannot overstate the need to register on time as no late registrations will be accepted!
