Gary Raham of Wellington is a finalist in the Colorado Author’s League 2014 CAL Writing Award contest. His feature article titled “Alive and Aloft in the Aeolian Zone,” which explains the role of micro-organisms in the atmosphere, was published in a 2013 issue of Colorado Gardener. Raham also writes for and is a staff graphic designer at the North Forty News.
Winners will be announced at the 2014 CAL Writing Award dinner on Thursday, May 8 at the Marriott Denver Cherry Creek.
Colorado Author’s League was formed in 1931. The nonprofit fosters the art and craft of authorship and promotes the interests of Colorado writers.
