Obituary: Eulilae Mae (Board) Nichol

Eulilae Mae (Board) Nichol, 90, of Fort Collins died Aug. 20, 2011.

She was born July 15, 1921, in Chugwater, Wyo., to Delbert and Dora (Bostwick) Board.

She moved to Fort Collins at the age of 6 months and later attended Fort Collins High School. In August of 1942, she married George A. Nichol. Together they farmed in the Waverly area until retirement; he preceded her in death. She enjoyed working with stained glass, playing cards, traveling, fishing, her extension club and gardening.

She is survived by a son, Jerry (Bob) of Cheyenne; a daughter, Judy McLaughlin of Fort Collins; a granddaughter, Samona (Bill) McDonald of Whittier, Calif.; and a grandson, James Richard Hensley of Fort Collins. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Sirena Foidi, stationed in Seoul, South Korea, and Alexus Hensley of Fort Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cecil and Robert Board; and a sister, Virginia Drake.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bohlender Funeral Chapel. At her request, there will be no services. Friends may send condolences to the family by visiting bohlenderfuneralchapel.com.
