Obituary: Jason Micheal Piester

Jason Micheal Piester was born Jan. 22, 1974 in Fort Collins and passed from our presence in late July 2013 in LaPorte.

Jason spent many of his years in the Poudre Valley and Bellvue area. He loved the outdoors full of camping, fishing, hunting and enjoying family and friends and all that Mother Nature had to offer. Jason was simply a loving, caring, polite, bright and inventive brother of mankind — an uncommon value in this country in this day and age.

Jason spent most of his growing years in Cheyenne and graduated from Central High. He returned to Colorado where he lived his life enjoying the freedoms and challenges of his choice.

He is survived by his mother Sandra Lee Anne Piester, father Dennis Piester, step-mother Colleen Piester, brothers Jeremy and Joshua and families, grandparents Don and Lois Piester, his aunts and uncles Jo Anne and Jerry Lopez and their sons Judah and Levi, Mary Upton, Linda, John and Robert Bettles, Shelly and Rick, and cousins Amber and Garrett Piester. Waiting for Jason when he crossed over were his Grandparents Thomas Arthur and Marguerite White and his uncle Steven S. Piester.

A memorial service was held Aug. 10, 2013 at Canyon Ridge Baptist Church in Bellvue. Please sign the guestbook at VesseyFuneralService.com.
