$236,000 down payment assistance awarded to Larimer County home ownership program

The Colorado State Division of Housing has provided $236,000 to the Larimer Home Ownership Program (LHOP) to continue its down payment assistance program. The program provides a 2 percent interest rate loan, up to $10,000, for first-time home buyers purchasing in Larimer County, including the towns of Wellington and LaPorte.

LHOP has been managed by the Housing Authority of the City of Loveland for 15 years and has assisted over 600 families in the purchase of their first home. To find out if you qualify or receive more information call Amy Irwin at 970-635-5931 or visit www.lovelandhsg.org.
