At Bethke Elementary, the show will go on

Bethke Elementary School students with a flair for performing will have a great opportunity to ham it up this coming year. On Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m., the Seventh Annual Bethke Talent Show will spotlight 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. An encore performance will be held on Friday, Jan. 30 at 9 a.m.

Applications are currently available in the front office, in the music classroom, and on the music website adamsmusic.weebly.com. Deadline to return them to Mrs. Adams is Nov. 25. Each applicant must list his/her act, song choice, etc. Be sure your child’s application is fully completed or it will not be accepted. Singers, for example, must indicate a song choice and attach lyrics. The committee will review them to be certain they’re acceptable to the school.

Auditions will be held during applicants’ special class on a date to be announced, prior to winter break. A predetermined number of acts from each genre will be chosen so as not to have a show weighted too heavily on any one type of talent.

Questions should be directed to Allison Adams at aadams@psdschools.org.
