Middle Bald Mountain is located approximately 40 miles northwest of Fort Collins, west of Red Feather Lakes. The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office has proposed construction of a site to improve public safety radio communications among government agencies operating in the north central portions of the county. The proposed communication facility would also improve radio communication in areas of the Cache la Poudre Canyon and State Highway 14 that currently have poor or no radio communication.

Those interested in the project can submit written comments on the proposal. These will be used when alternatives are developed. If someone cannot make it to the open houses, comments can be provided by Oct. 29, 2012, the following ways:

Email: MiddleBald@logansimpson.com (subject line “Middle Bald Comment”)
Written Comments: Middle Bald Communication Site Comments, c/o Logan Simpson Design, 123 N College Ave., Suite 206, Fort Collins, CO 80524
