Community Foundation of Northern Colorado now accepting scholarship applications

Local high school seniors can look to the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado for scholarship support as they pursue their post-graduation goals.

Multiple scholarship funds housed at the Community Foundation will award significant financial support to students pursuing additional education. The scholarship opportunities are varied; some awards are based on financial need, while others look at academics or school/community involvement. Several awards focus on specific schools, geographic locations and career plans. Homeschooled students are eligible to apply for some of the scholarships.

A detailed explanation of the scholarship offerings and specific award criteria can be reviewed by visiting www.NoCoFoundation.org and clicking on the Scholarship link on the home page. Applicants can begin their online application starting December 1, and the submission deadline is in March 2015.

The Community Foundation provides students with an easy way to search for and apply to its scholarship funds. Applicants complete one secure online application form and are automatically matched to each of the scholarship awards for which they qualify. Applications are then reviewed by the foundation’s selection committees and evaluated according to the established criteria.

Questions about the scholarships available and the application process can be directed to 970-488-1986 or [email protected].
