CSU's foothills chronic wasting disease research project hosts May 2 community meeting

A community meeting to discuss CSU’s Laramie Foothills Mule Deer Project will take place at 7 p.m. on May 2 at the Livermore Community Hall at 1956 Red Feather Lakes Road.

The Colorado State University research project on the deer population and chronic wasting disease started in January, 2010. Since that time, diagnostic tests of the mule deer population have shown that about four percent of deer tested positive for chronic wasting disease.

For more information about the project or the community meeting contact Jill Lackett at 970-491-2343.
