Houses in Wellington decked out with a festive holiday glow could win a cash prize — but only if they are entered in the annual Christmas House Lighting Contest.
The contest, sponsored by the Community Activities Committee, is offering $75 for the first-place lighting display, $50 for second place, and $25 for third, based on voting by the public.
Anyone interested in entering the contest must register before 5 p.m. on Nov. 30. Entry forms are available at Wellington Town Hall or online at www.townofwellington.com/cac.
A map of the participating houses and a voting slip will be mailed to Wellington residents with their December water bill.
